Tournaments

At Bet3G, we offer exciting tournaments and rewarding prize pools.

Tournaments are one of the greatest pleasures of poker. There is no better feeling than winning the jackpot at a tournament and leaving your adversaries bewildered by your skills, talent and know-how.

Here are some of the rules of our tournaments: All of the players continue to play until one player has amassed all of the chips. Each tournament has a buy-in as well as a fee. The fee represents 10% of the buy-in. The prize pool includes all the buy-ins put forward by all the players and will be paid out in its entirety to the winner. The fee is kept by Bet3G in order to finance its costs and expenses.

Bet3G offers two types of tournaments:

1. Scheduled Tournaments which are pre-announced to which you must register before registration closes.
2. Unscheduled (Sit &Go’s) one table or multi table Tournaments, which are available 24/7 and start as soon as a specified number of players are seated at the tournament table.

Late registration is available in select multi-table tournaments. Registration is considered closed when any of the following occurs:
o a) The first level of the tournament is completed.
o b) One player is eliminated from the tournament.
o c) All available seats are filled.
o d) Maximum tournament capacity is reached.

Players will be allowed to unregister from an unscheduled tournament as long as not all the seats have been filled and from a scheduled tournament up to 15 minutes before the tournament start
All players in tournaments will be forced to post all blinds and/or antes even if they are not present and ready to play.
There will be a five-minute break every hour in all scheduled tournaments, unless otherwise stated.
When tables become unbalanced in multi-table tournaments (i.e. one table has fewer players than another) players may be transferred to a new table. Those Players will be dealt in to the game as soon as possible and may be obliged to post or skip blinds more than once.
The top three players (based on chip counts) in the competition will split the prize pool according to the following: 50% the top player, 30% the second and 20% the third. If a tie occurs, the players will split the appropriate prize.
The time players have to act will be reduced during the last 10% of the time on the clock in time-based tournaments. This is to prevent stalling.
With the exception of rebuy tournaments, a player is eliminated when he loses all of his chips.
In limit tournaments (fixed betting), there will be one bet and three raises in each betting round. When only two players remain, there is no limit on the number of raises. In pot-limit and no-limit tournaments, there are no limits on the number of raises.
When two players remain, the player due to assume the big blind will do so, and the small blind will inherit the button. The small blind or button will act first prior to the flop and second after the flop.
If two (or more) players from the same table are eliminated on the same hand, the player who started the hand with the most chips will be awarded the higher finishing position.
If two (or more) players from different tables are eliminated on the same hand, the prize money will be equally divided among all the players who finished with the same rank. They will each be assigned the lowest rank.
Players are expected to follow established poker ethiques. Any players who abuse proper etiquette may be disqualified from the tournament.
Soft playing is not allowed in tournaments. Soft playing happens when a player does not bet his or her hand to its full potential with the expressed intent of helping another player advance further in the tournament.
Players who do not act on their hand in time ('time out') will be automatically folded.

Cancellation policy

1-table Sit&Gos: If a tournament is cancelled for technical reasons, any player who was eliminated prior to cancellation will lose his or her buy-in and entry fee. The remaining players will be refunded their buy-ins and entry fees and will equally divide the buy-in monies (from the players already eliminated), regardless of their chip count when the tournament was cancelled.
Multi-table Sit&Gos and tournaments: If a tournament is cancelled for technical reasons, the following refund policy will take effect:
o Eliminated players at the time of cancellation will not be refunded their buy-in or entry fee
o Players still in the tournament will be refunded the amount that would have been awarded to the next player to be eliminated from the tournament. 50% of the remaining prize pool will be distributed equally between the remaining players, and 50% will be distributed on a percentage basis according to each players chip count. The remaining players will also be refunded their entry fee.
Play money and freeroll tournaments: Cancelled tournaments without a real money buy-in are considered to have not been played. This includes play money tournaments, play money freerolls, and real money freerolls. The prize pools for these tournaments will not be redistributed, and no compensation will be awarded to players who are still in the tournament at the time of cancellation.

We reserve the right to amend our poker tournament rules and policies at any time without notice. Such amendments will take effect as soon as it is posted in our website. Rebuys

Rebuys and add-ons on sometimes offered on our multi-table tournaments.
This means that you can purchase extra chips during a tournament. A rebuy is only available before the first break and will only be available to players who are at or below their original chip count. The first add-on is available during the first break and will be available to all players, regardless of their chip count. Tournaments may allow both methods of boosting your chip count, or just rebuys.
The prize pool distribution for rebuy and add-on tournaments will not be calculated until both the rebuy and add-on period has ended. Only the total prize pool figure will be displayed until the add-on period is over. If the add-on option is not offered, the prize pool distribution will take place after the rebuy period has ended.

You can request a rebuy by clicking on the 'Rebuy' button on the game screen.
If you lose all your chips, the rebuy screen option will appear (if you are eligible). You will have 30 seconds to decide whether you want to rebuy or not. If you do not rebuy, you will be eliminated from the tournament.
The number of rebuys allowed for a tournament can vary from zero to unlimited. The number of add-ons can also vary from zero to unlimited in a tournament.

When a tournament starts, you can see stack details, as well as the following information:
• Cost of rebuy and number of chips per rebuy
• Cost of add-on and number of chips per add-on

If a player is eliminated from the tournament at a rank that has a prize associated with it, even though the prize pool is not published, then the rebuy/rebuy and add-on period will be closed. The prize pool will be published and the eliminated player will be paid his prize money.
With each rebuy and add-on, the total chips in the tournament will increase. The total chips in rebuy tournaments will be equal to the sum of all players 'player's starting chips (including extra starting chips, if any)' plus the sum of chips given to all players through a rebuy request plus the sum of chips given to all players through an add-on request. The total chips in the tournament will continue to accumulate as and when players make a rebuy request and the final number will be calculated only when the add-on period is over.
If a tournament crashes during the add-on period, the exact count of total chips in the tournament at the time of crash (including the chips added into the tournament as a result of rebuy and add-on requests) will be used to distribute the balance of the prize pool money.
